Day 01 - Arrival in Delhi.

On arrival welcome & transfer to hotel, after wash & change short visit of Delhi, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib the Mecca of the Sikh religion. The Raj Ghat is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of cremation of Mahatma Gandhi on January 31, 1948. On the memorial is registered Hē Ram (literally "O Ram", but also translated as "God"), are the last words whispered by Gandhi.

Day 02 – Delhi - Hardwar by train

6:55 departure by train to Haridwar 11:45 arrival in Haridwar, on arrival in Haridwar rly station transfer to Kankhal.

Note: For tickets on this train we must have names, age and gender of travelers 125 days before departure. If we cannot get the tickets, we will take a bus: 8h drive. Installing the guest house of the Ashram Shiv Shakti Peeth, we are not at the hotel but at the heart of the spiritual life just meters from Daksh Shiva temple and Samadhi My Anandamayee. After lunch visit the ashram of Anandamayi Ma and "arti" in the evening.

Day 03 - Haridwar

Haridwar is one of the most fascinating holy cities of India. Located on the right bank of the Ganges, in the late afternoon we will attend the Ganga Arti (worship of the goddess Ganga with lamp offerings) at Har-ki-Pauri (Lord Vishnu Foot Footprint), also known as Brahma Kund (Pool of Brahma).

A quiet but dense crowd pressed and settled on both banks, apart only about thirty meters.

Day 04 - Haridwar - Rishikesh 30 km, 1h drive

After breakfast leave for Rishikesh, on arrival visit the ashram of Shivanada & Ram Julla, afternoon free, in the evening attend the Ganga Arti ( Pujja) at Trivani Ghat, dinner at hotel.

This twin city of Haridwar, situated at the confluence of the Chandrabagha and the Ganges, marks the starting point of the holy Char Dham pilgrim route. Muni-Ki-Reti (Literally “Sand of the Sages”), lies upstream from the Trivani Ghat, and is said to be a blessed site since ancient sages meditated at this spot. It has several famous ashrams, including the Shivanand, Purnanand and Shantikunj ashrams, which offer courses in India’s ancient knowledge system.

Day 05 – Rishikesh - Vasishth Gufa 22 km, 1h drive

Morning Yoga with Indian teacher, after breakfast leave for Vasistha Guha Vasistha Guha, on the bus route of Badrinath, from the main road one has to walks down about 100 yards to reach Vasistha Guha. It is located in calm natural surroundings on the bank of the river Ganga. There is a 100 yards long cave, terminating at the riverbed. If we manage to cover about 100ft into the cave, we find a lingam to which daily pooja is performed. Beyond this point, the cave is since sealed, fearing that wild animals may take shelter. Religious chantings and pooja are done with intense devotion. It is a daily feature lasting for nearly 4 hours, where upon there is a community feeding in which the Ashram chief also participates.

Swami Purushottamananda who found the Ashram, since he has attained the samadhi. His disciple Swami Chaitanyananada is taking care of the Ashram, fostering the ideals of his Guru with great devotion.

Day 06 - Rishikesh - Sadhana Kendra 95km, 3h drives

After breakfast leave for Chandra swami ashram, on the way visit in Dehradun, Ma Anandamayee ashram and Palden Sakya monastery, after lunch droop at Chandra swami ashram.

After breakfast droop Saharanpur rly station to connect train for Agra depart at 9:55 AM arrived in Agra at 16: 40, on arrival in Agra pickup & transfer to hotel.

Day 10 - Agra – Gaya by night train

Visit the Taj Mahal & Red fort, evening after dinner transfer to rly station to catch night train for Gaya. All SDAH 12988 depart from Agra Fort at 19:25 & arrive at 07:43 AM in Gaya, on arrival in Gaya drive to Bodhgaya.

 

Day 11 - Gaya - Bodh Gaya 15 km, 1h drive

Thousands of pilgrims from around the world now flock there to meditate in the temple near which the prince Sakyamuni attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. The Diamond Throne, the Golden Promenoir and ficus religiosa emblems are all calling for meditation and contemplation. Various Buddhist communities have built their monasteries recently and provide an intense spiritual life to this site so long forgotten.

Day 12 - Bodhgaya

Discovery and meditation day in different monasteries. In the evening we go to sit under the tree where the Buddha attained enlightenment to meditate.

Day 13 - Bodhgaya - Varanasi 210 km, 7h drives

We will join the legendary "Great Trunk Road" to reach Varanasi. Installation at the hotel and departure by rickshaw to the main ghat to witness the Ganga Arti at. If the Ganges washes all impurities, Varanasi liberates reincarnation. Is not Shiva himself, the tutelary deity of the city, who whispers to the dying the mantra of deliverance.

Day 14 - Varanasi

Early morning walk to the banks of the Ganges. We will go to the ashram of Anandamayi, we can listen to girls sing hymns in Sanskrit, follow the rituals and meditate. Boat ride on the Ganges to attend the ablutions of the faithful in the holy river. Back to the hotel for breakfast. We also take time to visit the least visited places like the temple of Jupiter and Saturn's, meet ascetics

Day 15 – Varanasi - Sarnath 20 km, 1h drive - Delhi by flight

After breakfast leave for Sarnath, near the sacred city of the Hindus, an emblematic place of Buddhism Sarnath. At the Deer Park, the Buddha preached for the first time and founded the monastic community. The remains of the main temple built on the site where the Buddha would have lived, stupas and Dhamekh Dharmarajika raised by Ashoka as one of the columns in which the Emperor spread Buddhism. Lunch at Sarnath, after lunch transfer to the airport for the flight to Delhi.

Note: The weight of checked baggage is limited to 15kg on domestic routes in India. The extra charge is payable by the passenger.

Day 16 – Delhi - Departure

Cancellation Policy

  • Less than 60 days from the beginning of trip- 5% of the total price.
  • Less than 45 days from the beginning of trip- 25% of the total price.
  • Less than 30 days from start of the trip- 40% of the total price.
  • At least 15 days early trip- 50% of the total price.
  • At least 7 days early trip- 100% of the total price.

Liability

We suggest that clients should be covered by Travel, medical, health and other types of insurance. These cannot be obtained in India. The above quotations are subject to amendment should the Transporters/ Hotelier amend their rates prior to commencement of the tour Teerth Travels Pvt.
