Kedarnath Floods 2013 (Uttrakhand)

Teerth Travels sent approximately 500 blankets to help the victims of this natural disaster with a toll of about 5000 deaths.

Earthquake of Nepal in April 2015

It killed over 8,000 people and injured more than 21,000.

The earthquake occurred on 25 April 2015 at 11:56 a.m. at a depth of approximately 15 km (which is considered shallow and therefore more damaging than quakes that originate deeper in the ground) with its epicentre approximately 34 km (21 mi) east-southeast of Lamjung, Nepal, lasting approximately fifty seconds. Teerth Tarvels tried to help as soon as possible, with local people in Nepal, we tried to send financial help from Europe especially from France, Teerth travels sent approx 300 blankets for Nepali people from India. These added to the aid of Humanitaire Himalaya, a charitable society founded by Jacques Vigne and Adriana Ardelean. Its donators are often former participants in the trips of Dinesh and Jacques. With a budget of about 30000€, they could rebuild many tin shed houses in villages north and east from Kathmandu, each costing for two rooms about 150€. Jacques Vigne inspected the accomplished work in the first half of December 2015.
